I think the title says all....I had it about a week when a little wind broke the bracket flush on the base. I then purchased a better mount and have not had a problem. Pass on this..........

I bought this about eighteen months ago, and during some high winds recently, the actual holder ripped right off the base. I'd have expected the pole to snap, bend or pull free before something like that happened. It wasn't even a heavy pole, just a light aluminum one. In the eighteen months I had the holder, it put dents and holes into my flagpole, too. It was hard to adjust, and made the whole process of changing the flag miserable. When I replace what's left of this one, I'll be buying a different brand. The only upside -- which is why it got two stars, not one -- was that it was nice looking

I had one of these up for about 60 days and the first storm with moderate winds broke the bracket off flush with its base. The bracket was not overloaded and it was flying a standard sized yard banner on their pole. This appears to be made of pot metal -- the kind of thing cheap toys were made of in the fifties. I am going to get a replacement made of iron or steel.

Well made bracket! It is nice to have the adjustable one in a metal material. I had a plastic adjustable bracket before and eventually it just cracked. I would not hesitate to buy this bracket. I purchased the Toland Anti-Wrap Flagpole as well and both worked out perfectly!
