This helmet is very comfortable, nice padding and straps, definately worth the money. However when they say it is glossy it is a understatment! It is very shiny. The graphics and everything are nice however I kind of wish I would have gotten the "flat" black rather than the glossy.

I am a member of the Patriot Guard Riders and have been scouring the internet for a helmet with patriotic graphics. I ordered this helmet, size small, in flat black from a different company before finding it here, but a small was the wrong size. I decided to order the medium glossy black helmet from Amazon when I found it here (for a much better price) and see how it fit. I had no idea it even came in a glossy black until I saw it here. I read what the other reviewer said about wishing they had gotten the flat black, and after comparing the two I can see why. (Yes, the price was so good here on Amazon that I bought the same helmet in two different finishes!)
Don't get me wrong - the glossy black is absolutely gorgeous. The graphics are high quality and look great against the glossy finish; they REALLY pop on the flat finish, though (I have a review of the flat black helmet here too).
This helmet is extremely comfortable - almost to the point that I forget I have one on! I have ridden with it in very windy conditions and it doesn't make me feel like it's going to rip my head off with every gust of wind. It's nice and light and feels sturdy - hopefully I'll never have to find out just how sturdy it is!
Regardless of whether you prefer glossy or flat, this helmet is great and the graphics are outstanding. I feel it does great honor to our military and I will be proud to wear it on my next PGR mission.

Nice looking and well made but the sizing appears wrong. I was careful when I ordered it but it doesn't fit properly. Also it is padded so thick that it is huge on your head. And I mean huge.

First off as another reviewer noted, the sizing is a bit off. I have a 22.5 inch head, and based on their sizing guides I bought a medium, and it is too snug. I recommend buying one size larger then they suggest, but you'd be best off to go to a store and try on some Vcan helmets to figure out what your size really is.
The graphics are beautiful, although you can see a line where the graphics end and the black of the helmet begins, but its not at all noticeable unless you closely inspect it. Its also important to note that this helmet is very thick which some people think gives you a bit of a mushroom head look. Personally I feel safer with this style, but I recognize that lots of people prefer the thinner helmets that admittedly look much cooler.
Its a beautiful helmet and despite it being small I will use it in summer when I keep my hair much shorter, and consequently wear smaller helmets. I would buy it again.

WOW, Very Fast Delivery and I'm In Afghanistan, I will tell you if you buy any other helmet you just wasted your money and time.Very sharp looking great detail and fit. I bought the VCAN V531 Cruiser Patriotic Eagle Graphics Gloss Black Medium Half Helmet.Could have better chin strap and little less gloss, but dont let that stop you from buying. Been a hog rider for nearly 30yrs and have had all the expensive helmets you can name. But this one shows respect to our country and Troops fighting abroad, for our freedom at home. (looking sharp in the wind.) Thanks good Job.
