I found this gem of a helmet here on Amazon after paying almost twice as much for the exact same helmet on a different website. The one I originally ordered (from the other site) was gorgeous but a size too small. When I lucked upon the one on Amazon, I couldn't believe the price. I decided to order the size I needed from here (medium), figuring I could always send it back if it didn't fit.
Pleasant surprise - it fit PERFECTLY! I have used it on several rides, in very windy conditions, and I'm happy to say I don't feel like it's going to take my head off when I'm hit by a gust of wind. This helmet is very light and the hardware (straps, visor and D-rings) seems very sturdy. The padding is just right, and I can even wear a do-rag underneath it and not feel like my head is in a vise. It fits me well whether I've got the do-rag on or not, and that's a BIG plus. Although I seriously hope I never have to find out how well this skid lid protects my noggin, I can say I feel very safe while wearing it.
The graphics are, in a word, STUNNING. I have both the glossy and flat black finish (I've posted a review of the glossy black helmet here on Amazon as well) and although the gloss finish is very nice, the graphics seem to really pop against the flat finish. I am a member of the Patriot Guard Riders and I bought this specifically for using when I ride with the Guard on our missions. I searched and searched for a helmet with patriotic graphics and knew as soon as I saw this one I had found what I was looking for. The photos you see don't do it justice - see it in person and you'll know what I mean. I can't think of a better way to honor our military when I'm riding a mission than with this gorgeous helmet.
A word of praise about Amazon - shipping was lightning fast, and I absolutely LOVE how I can track orders here. I have ordered many items from this great company and will continue to do so. Top notch in every way.

Over 30+ years of riding bikes of all kinds I have had many helmets including Shoei's, Arai's and others north of $500. This is my first half helmet and I got two. One for the wife. Really figured they would be safe enough with the DOT certification but assumed they would be "cheap" in appearance. Not so....these are well made and have no appearance of being second rate or cheap. I'm really shocked since some of my other helmets cost as much as 15 of these. These are either a really great deal or the high end manufacturers are making some great profits. Regardless a lot of helmet for around forty bucks.

This helmet is so comfortable. My husband put it on and he says he barely notices that it is there. Plus he says it looks so cool. It came with a bag for the helmet to be in when not wearing. For the money this product was better than I hoped. He loves it and I love that I paid less than at a motorcycle shop. I tried it on too and it felt comfortable and sturdy.

This was shipped fast and came with a very nice helmet sock for storage. It does look odd. "Mushroomish" however if something went wrong and I crash, this helmet will protect me.
