It's All You Could Hope For! Oct 13, 1999
By Alan White I had been wanting a CD that had all of the popular College Fight songs and I finally found it. The Florida State (Ugh) Band does a great job. The band does a great job of catching the authenticity of each song. For you Tennessee fans, the song listed is Pre-Game. You'll be glad to know that it's Rocky Top! Being from the south, all of my old favorites are there and done quite well. In addition to Rocky Top, there are great renditions of Yea Alabama, War Eagle, Glory, Glory(Georgia). National favorites of Notre Dame, USC, Michigan, Texas, Oklahoma...they're all there. If you're looking for a CD to play while tailgaiting or just riding to the game, look no farther.

ONE OF THE BEST CDs EVER...BUY IT NOW!!! Aug 06, 2000
By Jordan THERE ARE simply not enough words I can say about this CD. It's so much fun to listen to them and really feel like you're at the game. I'm a Tennessee fan, but FSU's band delivers flawlessly. I have played this CD so many times that you wouldn't believe it! But why? It's not like all I listen to is instrumentals; all of my CDs are country, but I was so happy to find this one that I bought it as soon as I could. Standout tracks are, of course, "Rocky Top" (which is actually listed as "Pre-Game University Of Tennessee," but it's Rocky Top alright), "War Eagle," "Yea Alabama!," "Step To The Rear," and "Forward Rebels." Every song is played right on beat and, like other fight song CDs, they don't slow it down to a boring concert pace, but keep them at the same speed played at game day. If I wasn't a Tennessee fan who had to say Rocky Top was the best track, I'd say "Yea Alabama" might be the best quality PLAYED track. (It's a fun one to play too.). I can't say enough about this. I play it when people come over for games, or in the middle of non-football season (listening to it now!!). Buy this especially if you're a football fan, you won't ever take it out of the machine! 5/5.

Input from the Hawkeye State Jan 27, 2000
By Joker I got this because I needed the Notre Dame fight song to have because I did some d.j.'ing at some of my high school athletic events when they didn't have the pep band there... and also because for some strange reason, college fight songs fascinate me. Very good job done by the FSU band, even on the Florida and Miami tracks, and congrats to them for winning the national championship. I only didn't give them 5 stars becaust they are simply JUST NOT the Hawkeye marching band when they play "On Iowa." I did like their sound a LOT, but its just wasn't quite the Old Gold and Black. It would've been interesting to hear them sing the "Iowa Fight Song" had they chosen that one instead of "On Iowa" Anyways, awesome job by FSU! GO HAWKS!

Awesome! Nov 19, 1999
This is a great CD! I enjoy listening to them any time during the year! Besides my own schools ("Rocky Top" AKA "Pre-Game 1989") other good versions include "Yea Alabama," "Forward Rebels," "War Eagle," and "Step To The Rear."; could you tell I'm an SEC guy? LOL! But Ramblin' Wreck and I'm A Jayhawk are great too. Overall 10 stars if they'd let me! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
