BRILLIANT! THE BEST COLLEGE FIGHT SONG CD, PERIOD! Oct 25, 2008 This CD is absolutely the best college fight song CD I've seen, period. The Florida State Marching Band does an OUTSTANDING JOB with these songs. If you're an SEC fan you'll especially like it. Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, LSU, Mississippi, South Carolina, and Tennessee are included. The only SEC teams not on it are Mississippi State and Vanderbilt. Also included are Notre Dame, Southern California, Florida State, Georgia Tech, Miami, Michigan, Nebraska, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Penn State, Texas, and UCLA, as well as eleven other schools. WOW!!!! The FSU band plays these songs with enthusiasm and an upbeat tempo. It's not the concert sound I've heard on other CD's. I know it's impossible to please everybody, but this CD is pretty awesome. If you pull for Northwest South Dakota Tech A&M University, you might not like it. Everyone else should be impressed.
Fantastic! Oct 21, 2006 Despite a few shortcomings, this CD is worth 5 stars. The music is brilliant and it gets you in the mood for college football. The music's so good, it gets me singing along to the Miami fight song and I HATE MIAMI!!!
The shortcomings? As a few have mentioned, it misses out on some classics, like "On Wisconsin". It also has a lame song for Penn State. I'm not sure it's even Penn State's real fight song.

Oversight Oct 14, 2005 Not to get into a pi**ing contest here, but the University of Wisconsin's fight song is also inexplicably missing from this CD. With a compilation of 33 tracks, surely one would expect "On, Wisconsin" to be among them. There are half a dozen tracks or so that, while I have nothing against those universities, could have been culled before Wisconsin.

FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT Apr 05, 2004 I just wanted to provide an anecdote about this recording...At the time it was recorded, I was a freshman in high school in Orlando, and a huge FSU fan. As I was in band, and our director graduated from FSU, I heard all the stories. Although they played every fight song like it was their own, FSU's most heated rival at the time was Miami, not UF. So it definitely bothered people in the band to have to play Miami's fight song. Most of the fight songs took one or two takes to get right. The Miami fight song took almost 10 takes. The reason is, every time they would get to the part where they sing, "M...I...A...M...I... M-I-A-M-I FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT!", the band would yell "SUCK SUCK SUCK!" instead. Finally close to the tenth recording, Dr. Croft pleaded with the band and the version you hear is that final recording. ;-)

Kids Love It! Jan 15, 2003 My 3 year old is always mesmerized by the marching bands during football games on TV. I bought this CD hoping it sounded like the songs do during the games, and it does. Also, it was here in 2 days - we love it!
