You dont need to spend much for a Festivus pole. This one does a fine job. It is sturdy and strong, and the rest of the year you can use for a flag pole.

This is a little light weight. The practice poles at school are a bit heavier. This one is weighted differently so it makes timing with throwing a bit different.

I bought this as a present for a person. What made me buy it was the pricing on it because other sites charge you more if you buy a flag pole as a single. So, the price was great. I ended up switching the tips when it got here and removing the tips was a pain in the butt. However, I would still purchase this item again if I had to purchase just one flag pole.

Great pole. But very loud when dropped on cement, so be careful of neighbors that sleep in late. Also, make sure to tape the ends (with electrical tape) to avoid damage.
