I bought this for my 4-year-old daughter to wear and it worked great. we had to clip the elastic band in back with a barrette so that it would fit her small head, but we'll have years of use out of this. It's made out of molded rubber, so it will retain its shape.

This tiara is terrific! Much more inexpensive than any other Statue of Liberty Tiaras I found online and looks very authentic. It's also very comfortable and perfectly matches the very inexpensive torch also sold at this site. Both arrived nicely packaged and very quickly! I'd purchase from this seller again in a heartbeat.

This is a really fantastic Lady Liberty tiara. The look is very "authentic," unlike the cartoonish results you may get from cardboard. I am impressed with the quality of this piece, and I wear it regularly without discomfort or inconvenience. The only issue I have ever had with it is simply arranging my hair around it, but I have this issue with all headbands.
Whether you go with the full get-up for a costume party or production or just slap this thing on your head at a political function, people are probably going to think you paid more for it than you did.

Authentic-looking Statue of Liberty tiara Jan 11, 2007

This tiara was the perfect addition to my Statue of Liberty costume last Halloween. It looks great, and rested comfortably enough atop my head. It did start to weigh on me after a while though, so I wouldn't recommend wearing it for more than 4-5 hours if you can help it.

I bought the crown last minute for my Halloween costume. It arrived just in time. When I went to put it on, though, the elastic tore right through the foam, taking a chunk with it. I had to sew on new elastic at the very last minute and it ended up being too big. It was a hassle to keep on my head all night.
Although it looked very realistic, and I got a ton of compliments, I will probably have to readjust the elastic if I ever want to wear it again. But, I Will want to wear it again because it does look really good (as long as you don't get too close to my own sewing job).
