This product is represented to work well in the wind. The spinning pole is designed to keep the flag from tangling. In reality the wind causes the pole to bend at the spinning connection located at the center of the flag pole. I have had my set in use for about six months and the pole is currently bent at about a 15% angle. In addition the flag is also poor quality. It is already fading.
Flags Unlimited is unwilling to correct these problems.

The previous comment about price is incorrect since the comment is referring to a wholesaler (who sells to retailers and not directly to customers, and I know there are some people who don't understand why, but this is a necessary fact of life just the same as why you aren't going to be buying your lettuce directly from a farmer each week).
And so back to reality, I just bought this set and am very satisfied and will be buying three other poles shortly (I have a lot of flags). The only thing I'm left wondering about is whether the kit would have been better with the flag with the end that wraps around the flagpole itself, and, I think the white parts of the flag should have a bit more depth to them so they would be whiter, but that is just the way nylon flags are, in my experience. I would have been willing to pay more for that since the flagpole itself is first rate.

This is the essence of simplicity: figure out where you want the bracket, drill four holes, and install the screws. Ten minutes after you open the box, you can flying your flag. I really like fact that the bracket is adjustable, so I can tilt the pole just enough to miss the gutter overhead. The "tangle-free" claim is legit, I have two of these, one on each column flanking my front door, and have never tangled a flag even on very gusty days. Installing the pole in the bracket is a matter of loosening one thumb-screw, then re-tightening after slipping the pole in. It seems a bit pricey, but everything is well made and looks pretty durable. Recommended.
