Good display flag for meetings and ceremonies Oct 05, 2010

I purchased this flag for our village center / meeting and community rooms, and it does the job. The flag has received positive comments on its appearance, it is portable (can be used in ceremonies, etc.) and looks good, with its fringe and sectional but sturdy pole. The base is to be filled with sand, but the diameter is slightly small - I'd recommend filling the base with steel shot or something heavier than sand for the greatest stability. It's a good value for the price, and shipping and delivery were prompt.

I bought this set for our Tea Party group to use in our meetings. The first piece I took from the box was the base. Plastic, cheap, Made in China, and had to buy sand to fill it with. The eagle for the top is also poor quality. The flag is good quality and MADE IN THE USA.

I probably should have looked up-scale a little, but I expected better quality at this price.
