It took me 3 hard hours to put up this flag.
I had to find a way to hold the zip-ties (cable ties) to the pole since no hole in the pole was provided.
And it is impossible to drill a hole in a small round tube.
I finally took a hammer to flatten out the top part of the pole and then drilled a hole through the flat part.
The kit includes two zip ties which aren't worth the plastic they're made of. I ended up using my own zip ties.
I don't know how I will attach the plastic eagle on top of the flag because now the top end is not round any more.
But that is for another day. At least I got to fly the flag for an hour before sunset. I got the kit to celebrate the death of our arch enemy, Bin Laden.
One more thing, the ad did not state that a wall bracket was included. So I bought one, which it turned out is much nicer than the one enclose. The one I bought is white, not cheap shinny metal, and has two angle positions for the pole.
And a screw clamp to make sure the flag doesn't fly off in strong wind gusts.

Three poles come with this item, and they are supposed to fit together in order to make one long, 6-ft pole. The pole sections I received were inappropriate and did not fit together... I received only one pole with a slender end in diameter which would allow it to fit inside the next pole (and so forth...). It's obvious that if you want to put a long pole together, there must be a smaller diameter at the other end... Thus, there should have been TWO pole sections with a diameter smaller than the regular openings so that I could fit them together to make my 6-ft flag pole... This was not the case.
Lastly, the only thing that holds the grommets to the pole is a very slender tie.
I was very disappointed with this purchase which should have been a VERY simple one... As a result, I must ask myself whether or not I will use Amazon in the future or not.
The ONLY good thing about this product was the flag !!
Also, it is quite difficult to "return an item intact, unopened, in its original package" (per Amazon's guidelines) if you actually have to OPEN said package in order to inventory and assess the contents, and it's only THEN that you realize there is a problem... This rule does not seem "consumer-friendly" and, in my case, added to the disappointment.

If you need a flag for one occasion or inside, this one is fine. Doesn't seem to be very durable for extended outdoor use.

This is a gorgeous flag and the setup was a breeze. Can't beat the cost, as alll others I researched are 30-50% higher. Received the flag very well packaged with not a wrinkle on the flag. Pole is sturdy and the polyester flag will last longer than a cotton. Fast delivery. Will purchase flags from them again. Flag is much prettier than photo!
