Collapsible flagpole Jun 12, 2010

The flagpole works as expected. I got this item based on the popularity of it with 2 organizations that I am a member of. As with other people that have and use them the poles have there own quirks. Most of the time the pole extends and contracts easily. Other times at least one of the extensions doesn't want to cooperate. The simplest solution I would have is to use an old pair of those rubber dishwashing gloves and cut them down to the length of regular hand gloves. This will drastically improve your grip in releasing the stuck section. There are a bunch of other solutions that are out there, I just went with the cheapest.

Flag Pole for the Motorcycle Rider Apr 15, 2011

I bought this to use for my Patriot Guard Rider escorts.I was hoping it would have been a bit stronger for the price, (now I just got a ad showing it's 1/3 less $$). It will not hold up to much wind, like if you want one for display while riding this is not the one. But, it is compact and fit into the saddle bags. The compression rings to lock the sections in their extended positions is a bit on the wimpy side. All n All if you want a quick flag pole that is compact and might hold up if you remember to operate it with a little bit gentleness, it will do what you need. Don't know the actual wind shear it will take, like if it's a super windy day standing in a flag line! It is what it is and not many of this type are there to buy. Hope this helps Ride Safe and "Stand for Those that stood for You " And don't Ride Faster than Your Angel can Fly!

Don't waste your time & $$$ Dec 06, 2010
By JAH I have now purchased two on these poles. I thought my first one might have been a fluke for not working past 3 uses so I ordered another. This time the pole only held the flag for 3-4 blocks before settling to it's down position. The rider behind me said that it just slide down and that was it. It will not stay in it's extended position with a flag attached.
