After proudly flying my US flag, I seem to need a new one every year after sewing and re-sewing and cutting off the frays from our Colorado extreme weather. This flag has been flying for nearly a year now and it looks almost new. Very pleased! If you want to leave a flag outside 24/7, this is the flag to get. (Don't forget to illuminate it at night.)

Annin makes the highest quality flags on the market -- and they are made in the USA!! Imagine that! Annin is the oldest and largest manufacturer of flags in the U.S. and they have been making them since 1847. This is a heavy-weight, beautifully handmade flag with sewn in stars and stripes. They look like new for a very long time and keep their color too. Outstanding quality - I wouldn't buy any other brand. The Annin company has a fascinating history that is interwoven with American history. An Annin flag draped the coffin of President Abraham Lincoln. There is an Annin flag on the moon. Annin was chosen to be the official flag maker for the Flag of Honor, Flag of Heroes Project -- the flags were created to honor the victims of the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001. These are just a few examples. I highly recommend these flags if you want something that will really last and be worth every penny you pay for it. The added bonus is that you are supporting an American company that has been in business for 164 years.

THIS FLAG IS SO THICK IT FLEW FOR 3 DAYS BEFORE THE CREASES SMOOTHED OUT. VERY HEAVY DUTY IDEAL FOR OUTDOOR USE. HERE IN FLORIDA THE SUN AND HEAT ARE REALLY TOUGH ON EVERYTHING. THIS FLAG STILL LOOKS LIKE IT DID WHEN I TOOK IT OUT OF THE BOX AND THE BEST PART IS IT'S MADE IN THE USA!!

As others have written and as you'd expect at the price, the flag seems very sturdy and well put together. Time will tell but it looks good and I wouldn't be surprised if it lasts three times as long as flags that cost half as much. 24 hours in a reasonable breeze haven't made it hard to see the traces of folds in the heavy fabric flying 20 feet up. Beyond the obvious flag quality, though, what prompts this review is the very nice packaging. A well made box presents the flag well and easily breaks down for recycling. There's a nice little note card with care instructions and an especially noteworthy pamphlet of US flag facts. In the end, of course, making flags for sale is a business. It seems like this company is proud of the one it's in. And I'm proud to fly their flag.
