Just gave this as a gift. I've had the same one up and flying for years in the front yard. Only had to replace the flag once after enduring plenty of windy storms. It flies well, and the colors are very vivid. If you have to take it down for any reason, it's easily done with the light weight (but strong enough) pole which has segments that come apart or fit together easily. The pole fits into a plastic sleeve which you initially install in the ground with concrete. When you take the pole out, there's nothing sticking out of the ground to get in the way of mowing the lawn, etc.

This is a great value in a flag pole kit. It is 20 foot exposed above ground and the included hardware and other components are first quality. Also Included is the Annin 3 x 5 Nyl-Glo Flag, Again a top quality item. Assembly is quick and easy, just remember that the swagged ends of the sections go up and the top section is the one with no swagged end. We are in in a high wind area and slipped 20' 1 1/4" PVC pipe inside the pole to strengthen it. You could also remove one section and have only 15' above ground if you wanted a slightly shorter pole for less wind load. Apply light coat of grease to the bottom of pole before placing in ground sleeve to ensure easy removal if needed later.

Thanks to the reviews of other customers I purchased the Annin kit. With the use of quick dry concrete had it installed with flag flying in less then 1 hour. Working great with solar light and two flags on windy bluff above Puget Sound.

We live on a lake and wanted to put up a flagpole for quite some time. A lady at work told me about her made in the US flagpole she bought the other day for over two hundred bucks. I started looking and found a good deal for this one on Amazon's warehouse deals.
Don't be fooled by the packaging: even though the packaging looks "all American", the flagpole is actually made in China. The only piece made in the US is the actual flag.
Setting up the pole is not a big problem, it all fits together easily and seems pretty sturdy. It comes with a plastic sleeve which will be cemented into the ground and the pole goes in there.
If you are afraid of making a huge cement foundation don't worry: I dug a hole about 8" in diameter (using an ice fishing auger which made the digging part a one minute exercise). Put the plastic sleeve in and filled the hole up with cement... Just get a small bag of ready mix cement at your hardware store for three bucks and you are all set. Even if you decide you don't like the flagpole any longer you can easily remove this small cement foundation.
I had it up since two months now, flying two flags and even though we had some strong winds it's still standing strong.
If you want an easy to assemble, standard model flagpole for your yard this is it.
