In February 2011, I purchased two (2) of 3ft x 6ft Sewn Polyester Pleated Fan - Online Stores Brand [ASIN: B0013KZR90] from sevenbrothersmercantile. What I received were cheap, paper-thin banners, that were not sewn, but one-piece printed stripes and stars. Apparently other customers have received the advertised banners with "sewn stars" as one reviewer stated: "This is excellent quality... not printed. All the stars are sewn on. heavy duty." THAT'S NOT WHAT I GOT. I e-mailed the seller (pasted below) and have not even gotten the courtesy of a reply. DO NOT BUY FROM sevenbrothersmercantile!

Hello, I received my pleated fans but they were NOT as advertised (Sewn Stripes and Appliqued Stars on Both Sides). The ones I received were all one piece, NOT with sewn anything. How can this be resolved prior to my leaving feedback. Thanks in advance.

I was very skeptical about the quality of this product given the low price and a couple of negative reviews I read but my fears were quickly put to rest as soon as I opened the package and saw the quality of these fans--heavy weight, quality polyester fabric, double stitched sewn stars and stripes, and heavy duty brass grommets. I've paid at least twice as much for lesser quality, smaller fans in the past that only lasted one or two seasons. One set I had before was made from heavy cotton which I thought would be better but they faded quickly in the sun. I'm anxious to see how these hold up after a season but I'm quite sure they will last at least a couple seasons and should wash and dry well. I really feel like I got a steal at this price!! I'll follow up in a few months when I see how they stand up to the outside elements.
